Hi Versies and Versettes!
Well it's been a busy little month in Versetown! Taste of Lilith tour was amazing, thank you to all those who came and enjoyed the lady love. We were in heaven on those big stages, ahhh, that's more like it! ;)
Sarah McLachlan was so incredibly nice, a lovely woman with an inspiring attitude and an admirable career, it was great to find out more about her and her music. Ms. Miller-Heidke was a blast too, such good wardrobe too. Rrrrr! Dress envy! And, on the last night in Brissie we got to meet Little Band Of Gold, an amazing bunch of top notch 'swamp rock' muso's from the states!! They were just hanging backstage, bonus! Very nice guys (for True Blood fans, they're the band playing at thingo and thingo's wedding in the car park at Merlottes!)
As for our side shows, BIG thanks to all those who made it to the Vanguard and The Espy…What fun! Sorry, sorry, sorry Adelaide. We'll get there, eventually, promise.
Onto things to come...!
We have just finished laying down the new/old/ super charged duet version of Running Away that will be OUR NEXT SINGLE!!! So Exciting! We have an amazing film clip planned and in production.. Wait and see!
Let's kick Summer off with a bang in the form of this song, always one of my favs, and see if we can't brighten peoples stereos up a lil’ with this 3 minute 30 slice-a pumped up pop rock just like the good old days! ;) Old school Versies will be aware of Dan and my history of duet duels, but this time we've gone and done some tweaks and tricks, and I dearly hope you like the new improved 2010 Running Away!

There is a fake Facebook Ella Hooper, it ain't me and it ain't cool.
Causing all sorts of trouble, saying and posting things that would never come out of my mouth or brain! So please, if you've been duped, Un-friend and report! I will however try and get a genuine one up and running asap, then we can all be cyber friends, for evs, for real, fo sho. Okay? Sorry for any confusion caused.
Hope to see you Melbournian Versies at The Corner on the 28th, with mister Ryan Meeking and co. should be a really killer and super value packed night of music. Can't wait.
Also co-hosting with John Faine on 774 ABC Victoria on the morn on the 28th if you feel like tuning in. I believe young Timmy Rogers is a guest too. Fun radio times.
